Congratulations to Barack Obama on becoming President. The people voted with their feet and the opportunity to change something was taken readily. Well done America and especially those who put aside their prejudices to make the best choice
No President has ever faced such challenges in the history of the USA and Barack will have to show that he is not only strong but one who listens, to Americans and to the world. He will have the luxury of a democratic congress to back him internally and that should not be underestimated. He must begin to change the perceptions of America and to show the world leadership that has been missing for many years.
Obama inspires, brings hope and for non-white people around the world, it shows that anything is possible, regardless of what colour your skin is. Hopefully, he can follow up his eloquent words with action to bring real change to the US and the world.

Whilst I congratulate President-elect Obama, I am deeply touched by his speech.
Can Malaysia have a non- Malay or non-Muslim Prime Minister in future? America has again shown the world what true democracy is all about. You must elect capable people into office regardless of their colour,creed or religion. Will Malaysians ever see in their life time a Chinese/Indian/Iban/ Dayak Malaysian Prime Minister or even a Deputy Prime Minister?
Unlikely, as long as we choose to continue to elect UMNO pig to lead government.
